MYANMAR – The National Unity Government aims to ensure the food security of the people fleeing the war. Field officers from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management are planting plantations and distributing farm produce.
Due to the brutality of the Terrorist War Council, people all over Myanmar are experiencing social hardships and are facing all kinds of poverty, especially the long-term food security of the people fleeing the war in Sagaing Region has reached a critical situation, according to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management.
It has been reported that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and related ministries of the National Unity Government, are working hard in order to alleviate the crisis from one side, the ground humanitarian officers of some townships in Sagaing, where interim local public administration is being implemented, are also planting the farm intended for people fleeing the war.
The statement also stated that the vegetables obtained from the farms are currently being distributed to families displaced by the war for food, and that we express special gratitude on behalf of the people for the generosity and labor of the local humanitarians who are providing solutions for the food of the people displaced by the war.
