CHIN STATE – Residents of Samee reported that a junta police was taken away by an armed group from his house in the town, part of Paletwa Township, southern Chin State, on September 16 night.
The arrested policeman was said to be Warrant Officer Naing Zaw Aung, and he was taken away at past 8 p.m. on Saturday night.
“It could be said that he (the arrested junta policeman) was being groomed by the junta council’s Tactical Command as a thug. He has been causing a ruckus everywhere and has been often warned by both AA and CDF,” said a Samee resident.
Although residents said that the junta warrant officer was arrested by CNF (Chin National Front), it cannot be independently confirmed.
