TANINTHARYI DIVISION – Battles erupted between revolutionary comrades and junta forces in Tanintharyi Division, with the junta council carrying out airstrikes, as reported by an official from Myeik PDF Joint Column 1.
On April 27 afternoon, junta council soldiers launched an offensive at Myay Ma Ohn Village, only to be intercepted by PDF comrades.
After approximately 30 minutes of fighting, the junta soldiers retreated, likely sustaining casualties, while PDF comrades successfully disengaged. On April 29 (Monday), fighting continued in Tanintharyi Township, with the junta council carrying out airstrikes at Ta Kyat, Kywe Htein Kone, and Taung Bain Villages nearby.
“The fighting persists, with the junta forces conducting airstrikes at Ta Kyat, Kywe Htein Kone, and Taung Bain Villages nearby three times,” stated an official.
From April 22 to 28, junta soldiers continuously carried out airstrikes near Thein Naw Village.
