SAGAING DIVISION – A camp of the junta subordinate Shan Ni Army (SNA) militia at the hill of Kabarlone Pagoda in Tamu Township was attacked and captured, killing four junta troops and five weapons were confiscated, announced People’s Defence Force (PDF) Military Region 1.
On February 25, the SNA camp at the pagoda hill between Tamu Township in Tamu District and Homalin Township in Khanti District where around 60 junta forces led by Column Commander Win Ko from SNA Brigade 891, Column 2 was attacked by joint revolutionary forces and the camp was successfully captured on February 26.
In the battle, four SNA troops under the terrorist junta council were killed and five more were injured while one M22 gun, four G3 guns, 675 G3 bullets, 235 7.62 bullets, 172 5.56 bullets, one landmine, three detonators, two M22 cartridges and ten G3 cartridges used by junta forces were confiscated.
The attack was carried out by Tamu District Command, Tamu District Battalions and KNA(B) joint forces and the junta forces at Homalin was said to have provided two aerial attacks with a helicopter during the battle.
