“It was right. Some battalions under KNDF and three local based experienced EROs carried out coordinated offensive attacks. We captured the junta’s outposts; BP – 14, BP – 15, BP – 16 (Taung Hla police station and Mese police station). It can be said that we have totally captured those outposts. The terrorist junta suffered major casualties. We had seized many junta’s weapons and ammunition. The detailed information will soon be released by respective groups and please wait,” he said.
The KNDF comrade continued that those junta’s camps capturing missions were carried out in cooperation with three experienced EROs, and such missions shall be continued.
It was confirmed that the junta’s Mese police station was captured by the Resistance Fighters on June 13 and at least 20 terrorist junta forces, including the station commander were killed and their weapons and ammunition were seized.
The junta’s propaganda channels are still writing propaganda that the junta’s camps on Thai – Karenni border have not been seized, but that the People’s Defense Forces have retreated with heavy casualties.
A local said that there was no offensive attack in the important outposts such as Mese, Mei Sa Nel and Taung Hla on Thai – Karenni border for over 30 years, but the Resistance Fighters were able to seize those outposts and it proves the coordination of Karenni Revolutionary Forces.
