MAGWAY DIVISION – Sergeant Htet Ko Lin from the junta council’s No.2 Signal Corps based in Natmauk Township was reportedly shot and killed last Wednesday (June 14).
“When he was on his way to get food supplies for the battalion on June 14, at around 5:45 a.m., the resistance force members shot him five times,” stated the spokesperson of Daung Sitthi Guerrilla Force.
Sergeant Htet Ko Lin was said to be an important officer in the corps that also holds an important role in its kitchen.
This attack was targeted at military soldiers working for the regime forces. The Daung Sitthi Guerrilla Force announced to wipe out the soldiers, police forces, and the pillars of junta regimes (such as militia groups) anywhere and anytime in the future.
The reported attack was carried out by Daung Sitthi Guerrilla Force and Magway Guerrilla Warfare and the resistance members requested locals to keep their distance from the junta forces and their offices.
