BAGO DIVISION- The junta troops, who tried to remove the anti dictatorship banner hung at the entrance of Paungde Township in the Yangon-Pyi Highway section, were attacked by explosions, as stated by the Paungde Township 3601 PPDF battalion news and information officer in charge.
Five junta troops who attempted to remove the banner, which states, “United is the whole country; NLD will step on Min Aung Hlaing’s head,” were reportedly attacked.
The details of the casualties among the junta troops are being investigated, but there are no injuries on the Paungde Township People’s Defense Force side.
The news and information officer in charge of Paungde Township battalion 3601 also requested the public not to stay close to the junta convoys or the troops and not to transport rations, weapons, and ammunition by POVs for them. He also stated that they always consider the safety of the people for any operations done, and that was one of the reasons for carrying out this mission outside the town.
