SAGAING DIVISION – Residents reported that a PDF soldier was killed in an airstrike by the military council in Minkon District last Thursday (April 25).
At around 5:00 a.m., a PDF soldier was reportedly killed when a fighter plane from Tadaroo Air Force dropped two 500-pound bombs towards the In Dai (Ain Nai) village, in the northern part of Minkon District, Sagaing Township.
“At 5 a.m., they fired twice. the villagers are also fleeing to the valleys. I heard that the junta army was attacked with landmines in that area the previous day,” said a Mingkon resident.
Regarding the status of the fallen soldier, Mingkon PDF has been contacted and has not yet received a reply.
Yesterday (April 24) at noon, in Minkon District, there was a shootout between the military council army and local PDFs near Htonebo village. The Military Council’s side was suffering and many forces were reinforced overnight, according to Min Kon District True News Source.
The military council is spreading propaganda that some weapons and ammunition were seized in the process.
On April 12, local PDFs reportedly attacked the Minkon District Police Station.
