CHIN STATE – Chinland Defence Force (CDF) Matupi Battalion 2 announced that a total of four junta soldiers have entered the legal fold by surrendering to CDF in the past three weeks.
The defence force stated that two junta soldiers came and surrendered to CDF Matupi on September 18 and another two had surrendered on August 28.
The two who surrendered on September 18 are said to be Privates Moe Aung and Toe Naing Wai and they had reportedly brought two hand grenades and over 120 MA bullets.
The two that surrendered on August 28 were Seargent Tun Zaw and Lance Corporal Wai Lwin. They had also brought one MA1 rifle and one MA3 rifle along with two hand grenades, eight cartridges and 530 bullets.
CDF announced that they had awarded cash rewards to the soldiers that surrendered along with weapons.
