MANDALAY DIVISION – Junta council soldiers have continuously committed arson attacks in Yay Le Kyun and Daung Kyun Villages in Madaya Township for two days, according to an official from the Spring Revolution – Madaya Group.
On Wednesday (September 27), junta troops raided and set fire to Daung Kyun Village. They set fire again to Yay Le Kyun Village at around 10:45 a.m. on Thursday (September 28).
The junta forces have been raiding and destroying the villages along the west bank of the Ayeyarwaddy River. Another fleet has also been destroying Hintha Kone, Shin Hla Taung, Aye Kyun and Yay Le Kyun Villages since September 27.
“Yay Le Kyun Village is a well-known location where clashes occurred between PDF comrades and junta troops. It was set on fire around 10:45 a.m. by the junta council soldiers. This morning, junta soldiers from the fleet also raided Hintha Kone, Shin Hla Taung, Aye Kyun and Yay Le Kyun Villages,” said an official.
The junta ship has also left Katha for the lower region, and they might carry out clearance operations. Currently, the junta fleet and its front boat are heading to the north.
