KACHIN STATE- It has been reported that Kachin Independence Army (KIA) attacked the junta camp at Maliyan village, Winemaw Township, and Myitkyinar-Bamaw road on July 29 at over 9 a.m., and the battle was serious.
It has been reported from a KIA news source that the junta attacked with jet fighters twice at the place of battle after 4 p.m. And a local said that there were other junta columns from Myitkyinar Township.
There were battles along the Myitkyinar-Bamaw road for one month, and the junta used more than four airstrikes. But the casualties hadn’t been announced on both sides.
There have been battles near Nansanyan village, Myitkyinar- Bamaw road since July 3 because the junta invaded near KIO Headquarter located in Loizar Township, and there were clashes, intercepted battles, blasting of heavy weapons, and airstrikes every day.
