MON STATE – The brutal junta council has been conducting daily airstrikes across the country, although experts warn that a powerful Cyclone Mocha is expected to hit Myanmar on May 13.
Since May 7, the terrorist military council has launched daily airstrikes and aerial reconnaissance in the martial law-enforced Ye Township. On the night of May 7, the military junta raided with a jet fighter, resulting in the deaths of three PDF comrades and the injury of four others.
“A junta airstrike attacked the camp and then followed by aerial surveillance. The terrorist junta is increasing military operations. We are prepared for this,” the officer in charge of Albino Tiger Company -1 reported.
On May 7, 8, and 10, the horrendous junta council used jet fighters and helicopters to conduct night time air assaults in Ye Township, injuring three locals and destroying one house.
“Following the aerial bombardment, the junta Battalion – 106 summoned and threatened the local elders on May 9 regarding the presence of PDF in the area. The junta council threatened the elders with an air attack for accepting the PDF in the area,” YPDF North reported.
According to YPDF North, locals from Wei Pa Thae, Chaung Hna Khwa and Ta Par Htaw villages are fleeing their villages due to the junta terrorist threats of air assaults. There was rain due to cyclone Mocha and the displaced people are having hardship and need shelter, medicine and food at the time of reporting.
YPDF North also said that on May 11, the military junta launched an air attack onto the headquarter of CDF-Senthang in Hakha Township, which destroyed the entire headquarter, although no one was injured.
