BAGO DIVISION- It has been known from locals that the village administers extorted money from 40 villages in four groups village, Moe Nyo Township, Bago Division, to support the military civilians. Locals said that they asked for money to support the people who went to military service this morning (May 1). They asked for 50,000 MMKs from households that could afford to pay that amount and would be given certificates of appreciation. Low-income families have to give 5000 MMKs and a middle- income households have to give 10000 MMKs.
It has been reported that some locals gave the money, although they didn’t want to because they were afraid of the team of administrators. Some said that they would give later and now they don’t.

It has been reported that during the first batch of military service, some administrators of those villages organized and sent the people who closed with them, as they would support the money, to military courses.
Now, the junta council asked for people to be listed from villages for the second batch of military service in Moe Nyo Township and the villages’ administrators were preparing to collect the list for military service.
