MAGWAY DIVISION – On the morning of September 27, soldiers of the junta council raided the village of Kaing Sanpya in the southeast of Myaing Township and residents of nearby villages had to flee.
A resident said that the junta forces invaded the village of Kaing Sanpya at 4 o’clock in the morning, and abducted some of the local residents. As they are still in the village, thousands of people from the vicinity of the village had to flee overnight.
“The (junta) column raided Kaing Sanpya Village. I heard that there were local captured. The column has not yet left the village, so the nearby villages are fleeing,” said a man who fled the war.
During the invasion of Kaing Sanpya Village, the soldiers of the junta council fired shots, but it is not yet known why they invaded the village.
Since the army has not yet left Kaing Sanpya Village, thousands of people from four villages within a radius at least four miles from the village have been fleeing the war.
