RAKHINE STATE – The terrorist junta council bombed Nyaungkan Village in Myaypon Township with two fighter jets and over ten civilians including a monk and a novice were injured, reported the local media.
On March 22 between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., junta jets bombed the village for no reason and despite the lack of battles, also damaging several religious buildings and houses.
The civilians injured in the bombing include Venerable Nargathayna and a novice monk from Nyaungkan Village Monastery and 12 year olds Ms. Hnin Yu Shwe and Mr. Kaung Khant Kyaw. The identity of the other injured civilians are still being investigated.
Local people reported that the terrorist junta council bombing Nyaungkan Village resulted in six bombs exploding inside Nyaungkan Village and four more bombs exploding near Taungpauk Village.
