SAGAING DIVISION – Bo. Mike Khel, the leader of the Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT) team, stated that there could be junta casualties after the terrorist junta soldiers from Kyaukyit Outpost that were holding a temporary camp in Kyauktan Village were attacked.
At around 2:30 p.m. on July 29, joint defence forces attacked an estimated 100 junta forces that came out of Kyaukyit Police Station to cover the junta ships coming up along the Chindwin River at Kyauktan Village, located on the river bank, with mortars and light weapons, and the exchange of fire is said to have lasted for over an hour.
“We attacked them when they set up camps near Kyauktan Village, in the village as well as the village monastery, attacking from the closest point we could approach. They (junta troops) still dare not return and are still hiding in the village. The junta ships have already passed the village,” said Bo. Mike Khel.
It is said that the allied forces of Myingyan Black Tiger, Thwaythauk Force, Popa Production and Guerrilla Force, Shwe Nyar Myay Special Commando Force, Bagan Ogre Force, Yan Gyi Aung PDF, and Daung Min Gyi Force of Myaung Township, joined Myingyan Black Tiger in the mission, and the members of the defense forces are safe.
A member of the Bagan Ogre Force said, “We can’t tell the exact number of (junta) casualties only because we didn’t go in to check. The 40mm mortars we fired landed directly on them. We attacked from two separate points while they were having their meals in the village. We want the junta dogs (soldiers) to know that Bagan Ogre will fight them anywhere. This time, we joined the mission because we received a request from the Myingyan Black Tiger.”
