MON STATE – According to Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF), the revolutionary alliance forces dropped bombs using drones over the junta council’s Mahlewe Taung checkpoint which is located on the border of Mon State and Tanintharyi Division.
It has been reported that the revolutionary forces dropped seven bombs using SFZ drones over the junta council’s Mahlewe Taung checkpoint which is located on Yangon-Dawei no.8 road, as a mark of honour to the 77th Mon National day, at around 9:30 a.m. on February 25. Two out of seven bombs landed on the junta council checkpoint and the last five bombs landed over the military camp hill where the junta council troops were stationed.
After the drone attacks, the junta council troops recklessly fired back using small arms and blocked the road until 3 p.m. The revolutionary forces that conducted the attack managed to retreat successfully.
That attack was jointly carried out by the drone force of Kanpauk region People’s Defence Force (Dawna Company – 4), Dawna Column, Mon State Revolutionary Front (MSRF), All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF), Ye Air Force (YAF) and Dawei District People’s Defence Force Battalion 1, SKY Ghost drone force.
