MAGWAY DIVISION – The Revolutionary Forces reportedly detonated the three junta’s military trucks with mines near Kyi Kan Village in Yesagyo Township, killing eight and injuring 10 terrorist junta forces, according to an official of Yesagyo People’s Defence Organization (Yesagyo PDO).
On May 17, at around 11:00 a.m., the Defence Forces attacked the junta’s convoy with around 80 junta soldiers leaving Zee Taw Village (pro-junta Pyu Saw Htee militants dominated village) for Sin Chaung Village, with a series of mines, and eight terrorist junta and police forces and junta-backed Pyu Saw Htee thugs were killed, while at least other ten were injured.
“I concluded that the junta dogs (military soldiers) stationed at Sin Chaung Village shifted their duty station with the junta dogs in Zee Taw Village. That junta column had been carried out offensive attacks around Yesagyo Township for a long time. We were waiting for our opportunity to attack them and our dream come true today (May 17). According to investigation, many terrorist junta and police forces and junta-controlled Pyu Saw Htee militants were killed during the attack, but they blacked out the real casualties. Anyhow the casualties might be higher than the reported number as their three military trucks were detonated with a series of mines,” said the official of Yesagyo PDO.
Despite the terrorist junta and police forces and junta-backed Pyu Saw Htee thugs continuously fired back with light and heavy weapons after being attacked, the Defence Forces were able to retreat from the battle ground without being harmed.
