MAGWAY DIVISION – The leader Mike Khae of Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT) Force stated that their members reportedly attacked the junta camp beside the Chindwin River near Kyunmakyer Village in Yesagyo Township with snipers on Sunday (July 2).
Around 5 p.m., about forty junta soldiers at the hidden sentry alongside the Chindwin River were attacked by snipers and they returned fire with 60mm motors. During the second round of fire by the junta, the barrel of the launcher was reportedly blasted and that could result in some casualties, stated the PDF leader.
“When our members ambushed them, they countered with heavy artillery fire. The first round of motor fire fell some distance from our backs. During the second round of fire, the barrel of the weapon blasted open. The man firing the gun has a 95% chance of having fatal injuries. The soldiers nearby also sustained some injuries. The injured junta soldiers were carried in cars to Yesagyo Hospital to be treated. The junta’s causalities are still under investigation,” stated the leader, Mr. Mike Khae.
The aforementioned attack was carried out by Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT) and Uran Underground Revolution Force (YSO). The resistance force members successfully withdrew without sustaining any injury.
