SAGAING DIVISION – People’s Defence Comrade information officer Htoo Khant Zaw (Amaethar) said that people fleeing the war from more than 20 villages in Ye U Township are in urgent need of blankets and warm clothes.
IDPs from more than 20 villages who have been regularly fleeing due to heavy weapons attacks and raids of the terrorist junta council in Ye U Township are currently returning to live in the villages, but they are in urgent need of blankets and warm clothes.
The villages that are regularly fleeing due to terrorist junta council raids in Ye U Township are Kone Gyi, Kone Tan, Nhaw Kone, Ywar Mi Thar, Za Wa, Kone Thar, Ywar Thit, Chan Thar, Htan Pin Kone, Hmat Si, Kan Pauk, Pan Kone, Bo Yone, Phane Kar, Wet Pho, Myin Pauk, Ma Soe Yein, Chone Ywar, Kyi Kone and Zi Kone Villages.
“There is an urgent need for 200 blankets and 300 warm clothes for the people fleeing the war. The current situation is calm, but the people affected by the fire cannot afford to buy new ones because their properties are burned. Now that winter is coming, the children, the elders have nothing,” said Htoo Khant Zaw, in charge of information for People’s Defense Comrade based in Ye U.
