TANINTHARYI DIVISION – An official from Launglon People’s Defence Force (PDF) said that four junta forces were killed when they simultaneously attacked the Pyu Saw Htee camp in Kyaukni Maw Village and the places where the junta troops were stationed.
On April 19, around 12:30 p.m., Launglon PDF forces simultaneously attacked the tower camp and Pagoda Hill, where the Pyu Saw Htee militants and junta soldiers were stationed in Kyaukni Maw Village.
During the battle at the tower camp, a junta soldier was killed and four were seriously injured. Of the four seriously injured, three more reportedly died on April 20 morning.
Similarly, the terrorist military council troops stationed at the Pagoda Hill were also attacked by the revolutionary forces with heavy weapons, and the junta soldiers also returned heavy weapon fire, resulting in a fierce battle.
The revolutionary forces also attacked the Pyu Saw Htee camp in the old Kyaukni Maw cold storage factory led by Pyu leader Soe Thein with drones and snipers. During the battles, the junta naval ships reportedly fired 120 mm launchers continuously to provide reinforcement. At about 2:30 p.m., the revolutionary soldiers retreated unharmed.
Launglon PDF Air Force (Drone Force), Launglon PDF Sniper Team (Sniper Team), and Launglon Local People’s Defense Force- LLPDF (Butterfly Platoon, Tawtarlay Platoon, Garuda Platoon, Zone-4 Platoon, Scorpian Guerrilla Force and the Shwe Thaungyan Platoon worked together on the attacks, according to the official of Launglon PDF.
