MYANMAR – An official from Phoenix Defence Force informed that they attacked the junta camp at Hlataw Village in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Division.
At around 5:30 p.m. on April 17, Sagaing Township Battalion 3 raided and attacked the terrorist junta camp at Hlataw Village while Phoenix Defence Force also attacked the camp with fixed wings drones.
However, it cannot be confirmed if there were junta casualties in the attack and it’s only known that several buildings in the camp caught on fire and were destroyed.
“As it was inside the camp of the junta dogs (junta forces), we cannot confirm the casualty details. The regional defence forces also attacked with heavy weapons. We heard that several buildings in the camp caught on fire,” said the official from Phoenix Defence Force.
Similarly in Magway Division, the terrorist junta forces stationed at the monastery in Wetpote Village of Myaing Township were attacked with rockets and two junta soldiers were killed, according to an official from Barmahti heavy weapons guerrilla force.
Barmahti heavy weapons guerrilla force attacked the terrorist junta forces, that have turned Shwebontha Pagoda in the monastery at the west of Wetpote Village into their strategic hill and built bunkers at the base of the pagoda, with rockets at around 6 a.m. on April 17 and two junta forces were killed.
“Our rocket hit the mine near the pagoda hall of the Pyu dogs (Pyu Saw Htee militia) and the pagoda hall collapsed as well, killing two junta dogs. Four more were injured,” said the official from Barmahti heavy weapons guerrilla force.
