SAGAING DIVISION – According to Battalion 1 (Red Dragon Battalion) of Kyaukse District, there were many casualties on the junta side due to the bomb attack using drones on Wetlet Police Station on June 28 morning.
Around 6:00 a.m. on June 28, 22 grenades were dropped with four drones on the police station in Wetlet where about 70 junta soldiers and police forces were stationed. As a result, the attack killed two junta soldiers, five policemen and Captain Khin Zaw was seriously injured, said the deputy battalion commander of Red Dragon Battalion.
“We were told that Captain Khin Zaw was seriously injured and had to be transferred to Mandalay Hospital. We know about the casualties through local informants,” said Deputy Battalion Commander Sayar lay.
There is no independent confirmation regarding the casualties of the junta council troops.
This attack was jointly carried out by the Battalion 7, Myingyan District (Zero Guerrilla Force), Battalion 1, Kyaukse District (Red Dragon Battalion), Shwebo District Battalion 15, Monywa District Battalion 21 (NDRF Division), Sar Taung Thunder (Local PDF) and MRTF Drone Force, and there were no casualties among the revolutionary forces.
Additionally, it was reported that revolutionary forces attacked the junta soldiers stationed in old Hanlin on June 12, resulting in junta casualties.
