MYANMAR – The National Unity Government (NUG) Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management (MOHADM) stated that it has supported 406.5 million Kyats to truly needed areas during March.
Out of the 406.5 million, 290.1 million was used for emergency food rations of displaced people/ war refugees, 46.8 million was given as emergency humanitarian support to the 257 heroic civilians who fell in battles and 388 who were injured, 5.5 million was given as emergency humanitarian support to CDM employees, 1.3 million was given as emergency humanitarian support to political prisoners and their families, 9.8 million was used to prepare rations for the people, and 53.2 million was used for general humanitarian aid, according to the report.
In addition, it was also mentioned that temporary tents were built in safe places for 46 houses out of the houses torched by junta forces.
MOHADM informed that it is focusing on the success of the revolution as the duration of the revolution has gone past three years and said that it respects and honours the deeds and spirit of each civilian taking part in the revolution while staying strong.
