SHAN STATE – Phaung Hsate Customs Department Camp in Chin Shwe Haw was attacked and captured by the revolutionary forces at 4:00 a.m. on October 27. It is learned that many of the junta council’s soldiers have died and the entire customs office and camp have been burned down to ashes.
“The customs office at Chin Shwe Haw has been burned down to ashes. All the military council forces are dead. Both the police and the soldiers,” said a news source.
Northern Shan State Residents of Chin Shwe Haw said that the junta council’s Phaung Hsate camp near Chin Shwe Haw was completely captured by the revolutionary forces this morning.
“Chin Shwe Haw, Phaung Hsate Camp has been completely taken over. Many junta dogs are dead. There are some shootings going on in the town. People from Chin Shwe Haw are running towards Namtit town in Wa Division. Phaung Hsate Camp is only 4 miles away from Chin Shwe Haw town,” said a local resident.
The shooting in Chin Shwe Haw town is still going on at the time of reporting. At present, it is understood that junta’s reinforcement armored cars and military convoys are moving from Lashio to Chin Shwe Haw.
