SAGAING DIVISION – PDF comrades raided and attacked two junta camps and locations in Taze Downtown from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday (September 22), resulting in the death of 23 junta troops.
These camps were situated at the former Daung Min Petrol Station and the immigration office.
During the attacks, over 20 junta soldiers, police, and Pyu Saw Htee were killed, and the comrades confiscated 14 weapons, including G3, MA1, MA2, and guns.
“PDF comrades raided several junta offices in Taze Downtown and set them on fire. Twenty-three junta soldiers and police were killed, and 14 weapons were confiscated. We have taken control of all the offices, and the situation downtown is unstable. Junta soldiers are not allowing anyone to leave,” reported a local revolutionary force.
“We initiated the attack between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m., resulting in the deaths of over 20 junta troops. We also confiscated G3, MA1, MA2, and other guns, totaling 14 weapons,” said another local source.
Currently, junta soldiers are conducting clearance operations at the battle sites and retrieving the bodies of the deceased junta troops.
