SAGAING DIVISION – It was reported that the displaced people in Wetlet Township have been suffering from season flu and they are in need of medicines, food and shelters, according to the Wetlet Township Public Strike Committee.
The terrorist junta soldiers carried out offensive attacks in the villages of Wetlet Township in July, and locals had been forced to run away from their homes under the rain and displaced people in all ages had suffered flu.
On July 16, Wetlet Township Public Strike Committee provided health care to 52 displaced people who lost their houses by junta’s arson attacks in Thone Sint Kan Village.
At present, there is not enough medicine to treat people suffering from flu. In addition, the displaced people are in need of food, shelters and basic needs and the Wetlet Township Public Strike Committee has issued a request to the people to donate.
