SAGAING DIVISION – The junta artillery forces recklessly fired one heavy artillery shell at Lat Pan Creek Village on Thursday (May 11) at around noon, seriously wounding one woman, said an official of CNO Upper Chindwin Region – UCR.
Also, at 2:25 p.m., the junta fired two artillery shells which was exploded inside the village, seriously wounding another woman and burning down one house.
“It might have been fired from the junta artillery forces in Kalay. We don’t know exactly. There’s no battle at Lat Pan Creek Village, and it’s not near Yarza Gyo Village where clashes occurred this morning. Two women were seriously wounded, and one house was burnt down. We just know that,” he said.
Starting at around 6 a.m., fighting between the junta forces and PDF has been intense at Yarza Gyo Village, Kalay Township. The junta’s five armor also went there as reinforcement, and one Kalay PDF comrade was killed, according to the initial news.
