KAREN STATE – It has been reported that there were 86 battles where 25 junta soldiers died during February in the territory of Karen National Union (KNU) 5th Brigade in Karen State.
From February 1 to 29, there were 86 battles between the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) 5th Brigade and the junta council where 25 junta soldiers died and 45 junta soldiers were injured.
It has been reported that KNLA and allied forces were blocking the offensive routes of the junta columns as well as the provision and water tracks. As a result, the terrorist junta forces had to abandon three of their camps.
During the battles, junta forces intentionally aimed and fired nine heavy weapons to the residence and work places of the civilians and two civilians were killed.
