KAREN STATE – There were a total of 66 major and minor clashes in Dupalaryar District, KNU (Karen National Union) Brigade 6 territory between the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), Karen National Defence Organization (KNDO) and allied forces and the terrorist junta council troops from July 1 to 31, where the junta council lost 95 of its troops including a captain and two company commanders and 89 of them including one major, five captains and one company commander were injured.
Three members of the KNU KNLA coalition forces are said to have fallen in those battles, nobly sacrificing their lives for the country while 26 members received injuries. Moreover, regarding civilian casualties, there were three deaths and one injured.
KNU Central reported that these figures were based on reports by KNU Brigade 6 and daily telegraphs.
