YANGON DIVISION – It has been reported that Police Colonel Naing Ye Thu, who was part of the special intelligence department (special branch) of the terrorist junta council’s police force and an extreme supporter of Ma Ba Tha (a group of extremists supporting junta regime) died of heart disease suddenly.
Police Colonel Naing Ye Thu of the junta Ministry of Home Affairs, a former military officer, reportedly died on the way to Kantharyar Hospital from a heart attack. He had a son and wife.
It has been reported that 56-year-old Mr. Naing Ye Thu was buried at the Mingalardon military cemetery on July 25. He was a graduate of OTS and was transferred to the police force under the Ministry of Home Affairs from the military.
“He was truly a supporter of Ma Ba Tha. He was transferred from the army to the police force where he worked in many departments. His last transfer was from the cross-border crimes department to the special intelligence department (special branch),” said a source close to the police force.
