A protest was organized in Italy on May 22 to demand action against the atrocious junta council in Myanmar by the G-7 countries.
Myanmar Citizens in Italy, in collaboration with the “Giuseppe Malpeli” Italy-Burma Friendship Association, urged international leaders not to overlook the situation in Myanmar. They called for measures such as blocking the supply of aviation fuel to the junta council, refraining from establishing diplomatic relations with the coup d’état junta council, and refusing to recognize the junta’s sham election during the G-7 meeting held from May 19 to May 21 in Hiroshima, Japan.
