KARENNI STATE- The revolutionary camps and hospitals all over Karenni State were warned to be prepared for the aerial attacks by Jobs For Kayah (JFK), last Thursday (August 8).
According to the tips received from junta council moles, the coordinates of the revolutionary camps and hospitals are leaked to the militia council, and thus revolution forces should be prepared for aerial attacks in time.
“It’s time they prepare for aerial attack and not to flee. In this situation of leakage of the camp sites and hospital and clinic sites, awareness and preparation should be done in advance,” said an official of JFK.
This notice of warning is for all Karen State and preparation of special care must be taken especially the IDP camps, JFK Group stated.
In Karenni State, the aviation attack prevention talks were organized by the revolutionary forces but the actual situation analysis and public involvement were not satisfactory and thus locals have been judging the Karenni Interim Executive Council (IEC) for their implementation process.
“On hearing the sound of the planes, don’t take it for granted that they just flew over but not bombing the area. Please evacuate to the bomb shelter as soon as you hear the planes. I especially warned everyone about it,” said an official of JFK.
Recently, there was a fierce battle between the revolutionary forces and the military council in the Pankan Quarter, Loikaw City, and houses in the neighborhood were set on fire by the junta troops.
The Jobs For Kayah (JFK) group has been presenting job opportunities for the youth of Karenni on the social network page (Facebook) before the military coup and is currently a supporting group for CDM staff, revolutionary forces, and IDPs.
