MYANMAR – The Ministry of Finance and Investment, National Unity Government announced that the prize format of Spring lottery will be changed.
“To thank each and every one who dare to dream of the future by supporting the version 2 of Spring lottery that was launched on March 1, 2024, we will be increasing the number of prizes from 22,238 to 42,229 starting September, nearly doubling it,” informed Spring lottery.
Among the over 40,000 prizes, the grand prizes of 500 million, 200 million and 100 million Kyats as well as the jackpot prize, 50 million Kyats, will remain unchanged.
Among the honourable prizes, the nine lucky prizes of 10 million Kyats for missing the grand prize by one last digit have been removed but ten gift prizes of five million Kyats and 15 consolation prizes of two million Kyats are retained.
Happy prizes are also given out separately from the grand prizes with 200 prizes given out for last four digits while the prize money will be raised from 100,000 to 300,000 Kyats.
Meanwhile, 2,000 prizes given out for last three digits will also have the prize money raised from 30,000 to 50,000 Kyats while 40,000 prizes will be given out for last two digits with the prize money raised to 10,000 Kyats.
It was also informed that better products such as the NOH Gift Card and Nway Oo Ranger Program will be launched soon to ease the purchase of Spring lottery.
