SAGAING DIVISION – The Armed Revolutionary Force (ARF) attacked Ma Kyee Tone Pyu Saw Htee Village in Khin-U Township on Monday (October 30) at around 5:30 a.m., confiscating 16 weapons, including three artillery shells, according to an official.
PDF alliances also destroyed the houses in Pyu Saw Htees. One company commander of Khin-U PDF was killed, and five others were wounded during the battle.
“We’re currently cremating the body of the fallen comrade, and we cannot release any statements at this time. Our official will release one when the time is right,” said ARF.
Additionally, the Black Vote Fighter Local PDF also fired heavy artillery shells at Police Battalion – 28 in Yinmarbin Township.
On Sunday (October 29) at around 4 a.m., PDF comrades fired 60mm, 80mm, 120mm, and improvised rockets at that battalion, and the junta side may have suffered casualties as the shells hit their targets. That battalion fires heavy artillery shells at civilian locations and also extorts money from the civilians.
Black Vote Fighter Local PDF, AK Guerrilla Force, Burma National Revolution Army (BNR), Taw Kyee Kan PDF, and Son Ye PDF jointly carried out the attack. Comrades successfully disengaged despite the junta members firing back with heavy artillery shells and small weapons.
