BAGO DIVISION – Yedashe Township People’s Defence Team (PDT) said that a junta subordinate, Pyu Saw Htee (Pyu), a militia leader, was shot dead between Kyarinnkone Village and Taungai Village of Yedashe Township.
45-year-old Pyu leader Min Min reportedly ran into revolutionary forces when he was going towards Kyarinnkone Village from Yedashe Town at around 1 p.m. on March 15 and was shot dead.
“The defence force soldiers were going on another business. They ran into him when he was also alone in civilian clothes and eliminated him. He was a target for elimination by many teams. The first team that ran into him got rid of him,” explained an official from Yedashe Township PDT.
After getting shot, Pyu leader Min Min died on the spot with bullet wounds in the eye, head, and back, and his body was sent to Myohla Hospital by local people.
Pyu leader Min Min accompanied junta columns, served as a guide to the junta troops, personally took part in battles, and also collected information on revolutionary forces.
People’s Defence Forces had previously eliminated two junta informers in Kyuntawsu Village, Taiwa Village Tract, and Yedashe Township on March 10.
