SAGAING DIVISION – The junta council soldiers from the police station fired heavy artillery shells at Saing Pyin Town, Depayin Township, and carried out airstrikes, wounding some civilians.
On November 5, the junta council dropped two bombs using one fighter jet and fired heavy artillery shells from Saing Pyin Police Station, wounding two civilians.
“Civilians were hit by the junta’s reckless firing,” said a group of IDP support in Depayin Township.
A 40-year-old man was injured in his eyebrow and head, and a 50-year-old woman was injured in her hips because of junta artillery shells.
On the evening of November 4, clashes occurred between PDF comrades and junta soldiers, but the details couldn’t be known.
The next day, the junta council carried out airstrikes and fired heavy artillery shells. The junta airstrikes might lead to damages, and the details couldn’t be confirmed as civilians are fleeing.
On the morning of November 5, around 70 junta soldiers from Depayin Downtown launched an offensive, and over 5,000 civilians from around ten villages are fleeing.
On November 1, two junta artillery shells dropped and exploded at Lat Yat Kone Village, killing two women and wounding three others.
