SOUTH KOREA – Some Korean organizations and citizens of Myanmar in Korea have reportedly organized a marching protest in front of the office of the military dictator’s consulate general and the military embassy in Seoul, South Korea on August 20.
Myanmar Federal Democratic Mission Coalition – MFDMC was said to have organized the marching protest from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. of South Korean Standard Time.
The president of the Myanmar Federal Democratic Mission Coalition – MFDMC, Mr. Zaw Moe Aung said, “In front of the junta’s embassy and the Pyeongtack station, the Koreans and the Myanmar citizens condemned the military dictator and requested the Korean government, parliaments and its citizens to interestingly provide aids for Myanmar affairs. We also condemned the recent action of the Korean government inviting the Myanmar ambassador to attend the exhibition of Korea made arms. In front of the junta’s office, there were about 50 people along with Korean organizations and in front of the Pyeongtack station, there were about 50 people who protested against the Myanmar military dictator. Moreover, Myanmar citizens are encouraged to keep fighting against the military dictator as their last day is approaching.”
Myanmar Federal Democratic Mission Coalition – MFDMC is recognized by the Ministry of Defence, National Unity Government as the first fundraising group outside Myanmar.
