TANINTHARYI DIVISION – Dawei Collective Column (DCC) announced on Thursday (June 1) that within a month from April 9 to May 22, they had killed five junta soldiers and injured 27.
The DCC targeted junta outposts and gates such as Pakari Police Station, Uyingyi Village, Pakhat Village, and the 8-mile gate, reportedly launching two battles, two landmine attacks, and five ambush attacks.
It was also reported that two of the resistance force members were injured during these attacks.
“There would be more upcoming military missions and we urge the locals to be prepared and keep away from the targets, junta’s offices and stations and refrain from traveling during the clashes,” said a responsible person of DCC.
DCC appreciated the assistance from local and international supporters and stated that only with their assistance they could complete the military missions. DCC also called for more assistance to produce 40mm, 60mm, 80mm, and 120 mm launchers and grenades.
DCC is a collective revolutionary force of the Eastern Defense Force, Dawei Defense Team-DDT, and Dawei Southern People’s Defence Force (DSPDF).
