SAGAING DIVISION – An atrocious junta column was attacked with mines two times in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Division, which caused the death of a soldier, as said by the People’s Servant Revolution Wetlet.
The atrocious junta column with about 50 soldiers was said to have triggered the mines planted by People’s Defence Organisation at the north west of Samoon Village at around 5:30 a.m. on June 1, which caused the death of a soldier and wounded several more.
“A soldier stepped on the mine and his leg was cut. He died of excessive bleeding. It was known that before he died, he asked to take refuge in the Three Gems to share the merits with him by the monk from Khin Min Village. That column of military dogs (junta soldiers) had deployed the military offensive from Khin Min Village to the eastern parts, and on the night of June 1, they arrived in Sin Nin Village,” said the responsible person of People’s Servant Revolution Wetlet.
The dead body of the soldier was said to have taken refuge in the Three Gems to share the merits with him by inviting the monks from Khin Min Village at 2:15 p.m. and cremated.
Similarly, the junta troops numbering about 80 soldiers were said to be deploying a military operation to Sin Nin Village, at the south of Min Kone Village in Wetlet Township around 7a.m. on June 1 when they were attacked with grenades dropped by drone by the Drone Section of People’s Servant Revolution Wetlet when they arrived at the poultry farm, at the west of the village.
