BAGO DIVISION – The junta council’s Taungoo Air Base in Taungoo Township was attacked with 107mm shock missiles and the attack damaged two fighter jets while a flight coach received a serious injury in the head and an air force officer and three sergeants were also injured, according to an air force source.
On March 14 at 8:44 p.m., by the plan of Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM), Mountain Knights Civilian Defence Force (MKCDF) fired five 107mm shock missiles into Taungoo Air Base. Three of the missiles successfully exploded in the air base while the other two had errors.
“Three shock missiles exploded inside the air base, hitting two fighter jets. Those are being repaired right now. A store, an office and several furniture were damaged and three sergeants were also injured. A flight coach was injured in the head. His injuries were serious. An officer was hit in the chest and face but those were just light injuries,” said the air force source.
Currently, the two just jets hit by shock missiles are under repair while the revolutionary forces stated that the attack was a response by BMW and allied forces to the nefarious actions of the junta air force.
