MAGWAY DIVISION – Three junta administrative officers who collaborated with the junta council by forcibly conscripting youths and mining and selling soil were shot, resulting in two deaths and one serious injury.
On April 20 at around 5:30 p.m., Khin Maung Aye, Than Htay, and Han Oo Khine, who were fishing at Aung Mingalar Lake, Sat Thwar Village, Taungdwingyi Township, were shot. Khin Maung Aye and Than Htay were killed on the spot. Han Oo Khine was seriously wounded and was transferred from Magway Hospital to Naypyidaw Hospital.
“Those three junta administrators dug up and sold soil from the pagoda land in collaboration with the junta council. They also conscripted youths to serve the junta council according to conscription laws. According to the latest news, the administrator who were sent to Naypyidaw Hospital is in critical condition,” said a resident.
The attack on the three was reportedly carried out by only one revolutionary soldier who is currently in a safe location.
