THAILAND – After the Karen National Union (KNU) led Revolutionary Forces attacked and acquired Myawadday, a border town near Thailand, Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister has arrived at Thai – Myanmar border, according to The Reporters.
Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister will check Thai – Myanmar Friendship Bridge No. 1 and 2 gates and will also meet with the media and hold a press conference.
Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister arrived at Mae Sot International Airport by a Thai military helicopter. Thai military officers, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the secretary of Thailand’s National Security Council also accompanied him. The Minister and his team will also listen to the situation that Thai authorities and agencies are currently facing.
