KACHIN STATE – Local people said that KIA joint forces are aggressively attacking the terrorist army’s military base in Phakant Township, and the junta council army bombarded the area for 2 days.
Starting on April 9, the KIA’s coalition forces attacked the Hselzin police station and the Hselzin military camp at the same time. The revolutionary forces captured the police station at the same evening after 23 junta policemen raised white flag and surrendered. It is reported that the KIA coalition forces are continuing to attack in order to capture the Hselzin military base, and the fighting is still intense.
While the fighting was going on, the terrorist army bombed near Hselzin village on April 20 and 21. On April 21 at noon, junta’s Y12 aircraft dropped 2 bombs near Hselzin village and another 5 bombs dropped by two Y12 aircrafts on 2 p.m.
The status of the casualties as a result of the air attack by the terrorist army is not yet known, and the local people said that the explosions of the bomb due to the air attack could be heard even from the village of Tamakhan, which is 28 miles away from the village of Hselzin.
The village of Tamakhan, which is 28 miles away from the village of Hselzin, was also captured in March by KIA and KPDF joint forces.
