SHAN STATE: Two Forest Camp of the Junta’s Council in Ywangan Township, Danu Self-Administrative Region, Southern Shan State are said to have been raided and burned down by the PDF, as announced by the CRC-PLA Information Source of the Alliance of the Central Revolutionary Command, the People’s Defence Force.
Ma-U-Pin Forest Camp and Gazette Gyi Forest Camp in Ywangan Township were reportedly raided on October 27.
It was announced that the complaints about the members of the junta’s forces from those two forest camps who had abducted the boats of the local civilians and asked for ransom were the main reason for raiding the camps.
CRC-PLA and (1003) Battalion Hmaw Bayin Military Column cooperatively organized the attack, and the members of the junta’s forces retreated without fighting back. The boats owned by the civilians were taken back, but the two camps were set on fire.
The military conditions between the People’s Defence Forces and the junta’s council were intense in Pindaya and Ywangan Township of the Danu Self-Administrative Region.
On October 21, the military convoy with the Taunggyi District Police Major was attacked with mines in Ywarngan township by the Danu People Liberation Force- DPLF and resulting in the deaths of three members of the junta’s council.
