SAGAING DIVISION – PDFs attacked and captured the Shwe Pankon village police station under the Terrorist Military Council in Wetlet Township, and captured 16 policemen, including the station commander and deputy superintendent of that camp. The National Unity Government said that they received a lot of weapons and ammunition. The Ministry of Defense announced today.
On November 21st, from 2:15 a.m. to 3:40 a.m., Shwe Pankon village Police Station, under the control of the terrorist army, was attacked and captured at close range under the supervision of No. (2) Shwebo District Command of No. (1) military regional command.
During the battle to take over the camp, 3 members of the enemy’s side were killed and 16 others, including camp commander Ne Aung Kyaw and 2 deputy police officers, were captured.
Also, the list of weapons, ammunition and equipment seized from the enemy army were as follows, (3) BA-94, (3) MA-13, (16) BA-63 (3 were damaged), (1) BA-64, (1) 79 grenade launcher, (2) 12 volt smooth barrel guns, (4) 38 volt revolver pistols, (5,587) rounds of 7.62 (G3) ammo, (700) 9 mm ammo, (6) rounds of 380 bullets, (89) rounds of buckshot bullets, (6) rounds of 38 volt rubber bullets and (18) rounds of 38 volt gas bullets.
Also, (12) hand grenades, (6) forward mines, (20) Diamond ray grenades, (28) G3 cartridges, (10) MA-13/BA-94 cartridges, (6) front mine fuses, (11) Bayonet, (2) Sword, (7) hand cuffs, (15) Icons, (1) Jammer, (1) 4 Scope, (2) stunning devices, (12) various phones, 908,000 kyats of Cash and (9) motorcycles were confiscated.
The Ministry of Defense announced that one comrade of the People’s Defense Force sacrificed his live for the People’s Revolution and 15 were injured during the battle to seize the camp.
