MYANMAR – The Bamar People’s Liberation Army (BPLA) successfully held the completion ceremony for its sixth batch of basic military training course on April 10.
BPLA is active in Military Area 107 of Karen State and Military Area 203 of northern Shan State and this sixth batch of training was conducted in Karen State.
The training period lasted around three months and enough trainees to form a battalion completed the training. However, the exact number was not made public due to security reasons.
During the ceremony, Maung Saungkha, the Chief Commander of BPLA delivered the commencement speech, outstanding students were awarded, the student leader gave a thank you speech and there was also a photo taking session.
The model award, persistence award, marksmanship award, health award, best parade award and best squad award were given out.
Upcoming April 17 marks the third founding anniversary of BPLA and the revolutionary force has trained up to six batches of basic military training. BPLA is conducting military operations in Hpapun of Karen State, Hsihseng of southern Shan State and several regions of northern Shan State alongside allied forces.
On the other hand, the terrorist junta council, battling in multiple fronts across the country, is losing military strength and enacted the conscription law on February 10 and started training the conscripted youths on April 8.
