KAREN STATE – Karen National Union-KNU Central announced on July 21 that 46 junta soldiers, including colonels, were killed and 25 were injured in the battles that took place in Kaw Thoo Lei Administrative Area, Dupalaya District, KNU Brigade 6 controlled area.
From June 1st to 30th, there were 5 major battles and 24 small skirmishes between joint columns under the military command of Karen National Liberation Army (K.N.L.A) and the Karen National Defense Organization (K.N.D.O) and the junta council, according to the military telegraph records.
During these battles, a total of 46 junta dogs including a colonel, a lieutenant colonel and a police officer were killed and 25 were injured.
During the above mentioned battles, one member of the People’s Revolutionary force had to give up his life and one was injured, according to the statement.
