CHIN STATE – The terrorist junta air force bombed three villages in Kanpetlet Township and three civilians including two children were injured as a result, according to local sources.
On April 17, the junta aircrafts flew over Lweesone Village while firing machine guns and the bullets grazed a 9 year old child under his eyes while a 13 year old child was injured in the waist. Similarly, a 57 year old man from Kautsaung Village was hit by shrapnel in his thigh when the junta terrorists bombed the village.
Meanwhile, the junta council attempted to airdrop troops near Ohn Village in Aukkant Village Tract of Kanpetlet Township but failed and retreated after they came under attack by Chin defence forces but returned within hours to conduct airstrikes.
The terrorist junta council dropped 500 lb bombs into Ohn Village, destroying a school building, two staff housings and two civilian houses but the people in the village were able to escape in time. It is said that the junta council dropped two 500 lb bombs into Ohn Village and also attacked the nearby Lweesone and Kautsaung Villages with four aircrafts.
Currently, around 300 civilians from the three villages are afraid to go back in the village due to the junta airstrikes and are sheltering in the jungles and are in need of emergency food and shelter.
