SAGAING DIVISION – It has been reported that two people were killed when the Junta Council troops opened fire on the Boyone village in Ye Oo township.
On the morning of March 24th, the terrorist army of the junta council opened fire with heavy weapons from the north gate in Ye Oo city, and the heavy weapons exploded in the village of Boyone. The explosion killed a 50-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman from Boyone village, said Ko Htoo Khant Zaw (Mother’s Son), the information officer of the People’s Defense Comrade Group.
A Junta Council’s column of 130 soldiers is entering the Boyone village after being fired with heavy weapons. The column started marching from Taze on March 20th, and it is said that the Pyu Saw Htee men of Wathawa are also participating.
Residents said that the village of Chaung Yoe in Taze township was burned down and some of the local people were also killed by this column on March 23rd.
“They set fire to the village of Chaung Yoe in the afternoon. They also burned it at night. The village of Chaung Yoe is mostly inhabited by Christians. There are also Buddhists.” Ko Htoo Khant Zaw said.
The column could enter Ye Oo. Thousands of local people have fled from at least 15 villages within Ye Oo and Taze townships due to the terrorist army’s shootings and killings.
